Choosing a gift she will keep wearing

The difference between jewellery that gets worn and jewellery that sits in a drawer is rarely the price. It is whether the piece fits the life of the person opening it. What to buy for whom

For a mother. Weight and presence over sparkle. Avoid anything that needs a particular neckline - it narrows what she can wear it with.

What the price actually buys

Everything here is antique gold-plated imitation jewellery, and the gifting page says so as plainly as the product page does. The base is Zamak, the plating is gold, and the stones are hand-set kemp and kundan. It is not solid gold and is not sold as such - that is exactly what puts a full bridal-scale set in the hundreds instead of the lakhs.

Every order is inspected and sealed before dispatch, and damage or a manufacturing defect reported within 3 days of delivery is repaired or replaced free, return pickup included. Because jewellery is worn against the skin we do not take change-of-mind returns, which is worth knowing before you buy for someone whose taste you are guessing at.
