About Us
Saubhagya is an online jewellery house from Mumbai. Temple, Kundan and antique gold-plated pieces, hand-finished and checked one at a time, so an ordinary budget buys something that looks like an heirloom - shipped free across India.
Dayasingh Chauhan
"You should be able to wear something that looks like an heirloom without it costing like one."
Dayasingh Chauhan grew up in this trade. His family has been manufacturing imitation jewellery in Kandivali East, Mumbai for two decades, and he learned the work in that workshop - which alloys cast cleanly, why one antique finish reads warm and another reads flat, which joints and clasps give way after six hours of a function. Saubhagya is the arm he founded to take that bench straight to the customer.
He started Saubhagya for a simple reason. Jewellery like this - a Lakshmi temple set, a five-strand haram, a pair of kundan jhumkas - was being sold at three and four times what it costs to make, once it had passed through a distributor and a shop counter. The piece was never the expensive part. The journey was.
So this comes to you straight from the workshop. Every design is modelled in 3D and precision cast, so the detail stays crisp and the tenth piece looks like the first. What you get is jewellery that photographs, and wears, like something that cost a great deal more - at the price it actually takes to make.

How a Saubhagya piece is made
Traditional Indian craft, drawn in 3D before a single piece is cast. Each design is precision-cast, hand-finished in antique gold plating, and inspected on its own before it is sealed and sent.
Our mission is simple: high-quality artificial jewellery that looks and feels like fine jewellery, at a fraction of the price, so you can wear something extraordinary to every occasion.
Straight from the bench to you
Our pieces are made for us in the family-run workshop we grew up in, hand-finished and checked here, and sent to you direct - no marketplace, no reseller, no shelf in between. That is how a bridal-scale set stays in the hundreds, and why one person can answer for any order.
Hand-Finished in Mumbai, Priced Directly from the Workshop
Every piece is designed here, finished by hand and sent from Kandivali East, Mumbai, with free shipping across India. Prices are all-inclusive. Track any order with your phone number on Track Orders.
Our Promise
Free shipping across India and a quality guarantee on every hand-finished piece. Country of origin for every product: India.
Shop by occasion, region and style
Bride-to-be? Start with a South Indian wedding set - a temple necklace with matching jhumkas - or a long haram to layer beneath it. Reception look? A temple choker sits high at the throat and works with a heavily worked blouse where a longer necklace would fight it. Sangeet or mehndi? A lighter pendant with chandbali earrings.
Everyday: jhumkas under ₹500; delicate pendants. Browse the full range, or find something gift-ready in the Gifting Edit.

How every piece is made
Every piece starts as a 3D model, is 3D-printed, then precision cast in Zamak, a zinc alloy. The stones are hand-set into the casting and the piece is hand-finished in antique gold plating. Five things are checked before it is boxed: plating evenness, stone seating, clasp fit, weight and finish. The photographs are of the production piece - what you see is what ships.

How do I care for gold-plated jewellery?
Three habits make plating last: wear jewellery last after perfumes and lotions have dried, wipe it with a dry soft cloth before storing, and keep each piece in its own zip pouch so platings never rub. Avoid sleeping or showering in plated jewellery. Full tips in our jewellery care guide.
