Twin Peacock Lakshmi Temple Choker - Emerald Bead Drops
South Indian Temple Antique Gold-Plated Choker for Women - Weddings, Festive & Party Wear
How long will delivery take?
Every order is dispatched within 2–4 business days. After that the courier takes 2–4 days within Mumbai, 3–5 days across Maharashtra and 5–8 days to the rest of India. Delivery is free anywhere in India, and the delivery checker on this page gives the date for your PIN code.
What is the return policy?
Because jewellery is worn against the skin, we do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind - every piece is inspected and sealed before dispatch, so nothing you receive has been worn by anyone else. If it arrives damaged or with a manufacturing defect, message us within 3 days of delivery: with a continuous, unedited unboxing video for transit damage, or clear photos for a manufacturing defect, and we will repair or replace it free. If a repair or replacement is not possible, the refund goes back to your original payment method within 7–10 business days. You can cancel any order before it is dispatched.
Is this real gold?
No, and we would rather say so plainly. This is imitation jewellery - a Zamak zinc-alloy body, precision-cast and antique gold-plated, with the stones hand-set. Made to look like the real thing at a fraction of the price. It carries no hallmark and is not sold as precious metal.
Will the colour come off?
Not with reasonable care. The finish lasts longest if you put the choker on last - after perfume, hairspray and moisturiser - take it off before bathing, swimming or sleeping, and keep it in a dry pouch away from other metal.
Is cash on delivery available?
On most pin codes, yes. The checkout checks your pin code against the courier network and tells you before you pay, so you will know either way before you commit to the order. Cash on Delivery carries a handling fee, shown at checkout before you confirm; paying online has no extra charge.

Styling the Twin Peacock temple choker
By Dayasingh Chauhan, Saubhagya Jewellery · Updated
Goddess Lakshmi sits between two peacocks, with floral medallions at each end and a band of red and green stones across the base. Seven emerald-green oval bead drops hang below.

Two peacocks, facing
Paired peacocks facing a central figure are one of the oldest compositions in Indian ornament, a picture of devotion and balance. On a choker, the symmetry keeps the piece centred at the throat.
What to wear it with
Emerald drops pair beautifully with red, pink, maroon and gold silks. Wear it on its own with a plain silk saree, or above a long haram for the traditional stack.
When it works best
Weddings, receptions and festive evenings. It is light enough to wear through a full evening.
